Oakay turns your references into a private 3D home and lets you try furniture and save designs. This policy explains the information we use to provide that service and the separate choice to allow optional analytics.

Information needed to provide Oakay

• Your name, email, sign-in and account records, so we can verify access, contact you and manage your homes.
• The floorplans, photos, videos, dimensions, notes and replies you submit, so our team and its AI tools can screen references, build and review your home, and ask for missing information.
• Your 3D shell, furniture placements, finishes, saved layouts and requested Oakay Photos, so you can use, restore and download your designs.
• Submission, screening, release, support, email delivery and processing records, so we can operate the service, resolve problems and keep it secure. Hosting and security providers also process technical connection data, such as IP addresses and request information, to deliver and protect the service.

These service records remain available to authorized Oakay operators when optional analytics is off. The analytics choice does not delete your account, sign you out, disable asset caching or stop your designs from saving. Some requested features cannot work without their necessary information.

Please upload only references you have permission to share, and leave out people, personal documents and other information we do not need. We will not showcase your home without your permission.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential cookies and browser storage support sign-in, access controls, privacy preferences and saved designs. Your browser also caches assets to make Oakay load faster. These functions stay available when you choose Necessary only.

Optional analytics uses a random browser identifier and a session identifier that renews after 30 minutes of inactivity. The browser identifier remains until you withdraw analytics permission or clear that browser’s storage. Preferences are stored in that browser; they are not an account-wide setting.

Optional analytics

Analytics is off until you accept it. It measures visits and return use, furniture choices, searches, layout and Photos actions, retailer-link clicks, and loading performance. Activity in an unlocked private home can be linked to that home and its account records; this is not anonymous data.

Analytics events do not include your uploaded home images, address, login details or raw furniture coordinates. Searches are shortened and filtered to reduce personal information; please avoid putting personal details in furniture searches. A retailer-link click does not tell us whether you made a purchase.

You can change your choice using Privacy choices in the website footer or Studio’s Layout & settings. Necessary only stops new optional measurement and clears the optional identifiers and unsent event queue in your browser. It cannot recall events already received by our server; those remain subject to the retention period below. We also honor your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal.

Who processes your information

Authorized Oakay team members use service information for building, reviewing, operating and supporting your home. Providers supporting Oakay include Supabase for accounts, database and storage; OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and delivery; Resend for service emails; and Google Cloud for Oakay Photos processing and storage. Our model-building workflow also uses AI tools as described when you submit references.

Some provider processing may take place outside Singapore. Contact us if you need details about the providers and arrangements relevant to your information. We do not use advertising pixels or session replay in this analytics implementation.

How long we keep information

Raw optional analytics events have a 90-day retention period, with daily cleanup. Oakay Photos processing inputs and generated downloads expire after 14 days. Your uploaded references, home models, saved layouts, account and operational records are separate: we retain them while needed to provide and support the service or meet applicable obligations, and review deletion requests individually.

Your choices and requests

For access or correction requests, questions about retention, a request to delete information, or withdrawal of permission for a particular use, email oakaystudio@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity. We will explain any effect on your home or requested service, and any information we need to retain.

Withdrawing optional analytics permission alone does not affect access to Oakay. Links to furniture retailers open their websites, where their own privacy policies apply.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. A material new optional use will be explained before we ask for the relevant permission.
